Arizona’s Best High School Football Week 7 Players

A look at those who stood out in Week 7 of the Arizona high school football season:

Will Galvan, Glendale Cactus, QB

He threw a school record of seven touchdown passes in a Poston Butte rout.

Logan Hubler, American leadership Queen Creek, QB,

Completed 17 of 27 passes for 289 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 80 yards and a scoring in a 38-35 comeback victory over American Leadership Gilbert North.

Gage Baker, Surprise Paradise Honors, QB

The second, in his first game, completed 19 of 26 for 401 yards and ran for 56 yards and had eight non-interception touchdowns in a win.

AJ Murphy, Casteel, RB

He ran for 384 yards and five touchdowns on 31 carries in a 47-27 victory over Higley.

Isaiah Savoie, Apache Junction, RB

The runner-up ran for a school record 292 yards in a 56-31 victory over Fountain Hills. He ran 31 times and had five touchdowns.

Marcus Oberriter, Holbrook, QB

In a 62-24 win over Alchesay, he ran five times for 200 yards with touchdowns of 89, 53 and 21 yards. He was also two of three assists for 128 yards and one scoring.

Rudy Gonzales, Glendale Deer Valley, QB

The junior had 386 yards and six touchdowns and ran for two scores in a win.

Jordan McGee, Deer Valley, WR

He had five catches for 153 yards and three touchdowns.

Jordan Wilson, Mesa Desert Ridge, RB

He ran for 272 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries in a 44-23 victory over Laveen Cesar Chavez.

Adam Damante, American leadership Gilbert North, QB

The junior was 28 of 51 for 312 yards and three touchdowns in the loss.

Spencer Nielson, ALA Gilbert North, LB

He made 10 solo tackles, six assists and two tackles for a loss.

Brayten Silbor, Scottsdale Chaparral, QB

He finished 27 of 37 for 344 yards and four touchdowns in a win over Sandra Day O’Connor.

Grady Hickey, Chaparral, WR

He caught nine passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns.

Blaine Hipa, Chandler, QB

He was 29 of 34 for 310 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Phoenix Pinnacle.

Isaiah Johnson, Chandler, DL

He has four tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks and two rushing QBs.

Richard Stallworth, Yuma Catholic, QB

The junior finished 20 of 28 for 348 yards and a touchdown in a road win over Northwest Christian.

Jérémie Moore, Chandler, RB

He ran six times for 131 yards and a touchdown.

Eli Johnson, Lincoln Prep, QB

In a 68-44 victory over Tempe Prep, he totaled nearly 600 offensive yards and a total of seven touchdowns, five rushing and two passing.

Brysen Gardner, Centennial of Peoria

He had baskets of 37, 40, 42 and 44 yards in a win. He’s six of eight this season with his only 49- and 50-yard misses.

Skylar partridge, Horizon, QB

He had 291 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 106 yards and two scores in a win over Goodyear Millennium.

Zues Pindernation, Millennium, RB

The second ran for four touchdowns against Horizon.

Jayden Diaz, Arizona College Prep, QB

He was 13 of 22 for 175 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 67 yards and two scores in a 27-26 win over 4A Moon Valley.

Ryan Willey, Buckeye Verrado, DE

The runner-up had four sacks, which gave him eight in the season, in a 45-6 win over previously undefeated Agua Fria.

Cooper Zellner, Gilbert, RB / LB

He made 15 carries for 115 yards and two touchdowns and, on defense, 10 tackles, as Gilbert beat Mesa for the first time since 2011.

Tristan Monday, Scottsdale Saguaro, DE

He had six tackles and two sacks in a win over Tucson Salpointe Catholic.

Thomas DeChesaro, Saguaro, DB

He made 10 tackles against Salpointe.

Zach Hammett, River Valley, RB

Ran for 177 yards and three touchdowns and got a 70-yard punt return for a score in a win.

Isaac Madrigal, Tolleson, QB

He ran eight times for 50 yards and three touchdowns and completed 11 of 18 passes for 156 yards and two other scores in a win over La Joya Community.

PJ Lewis, Phoenix St. Mary’s, DB

He had two interceptions in a 21-0 win over previously undefeated Phoenix Greenway.

Johnny Delgado, River Valley, K

He scored goals at 52 and 26 meters.

Brendan Anderson, Glendale Mountain Ridge, QB

He threw three touchdown passes in the middle of an Avondale Westview rout.

Terrance Hall, Mountain Ridge, Athlete

He caught two touchdown passes and returned a punt for a score.

Xavier Quintanilla, Sierra Linda, WR

Had four catches for 113 yards and three touchdowns and intercepted a pass in a win.

Carlos Quintero, Tucson Flowing Wells, QB / SS

In a 28-0 win over Nogales, in his first quarterback game, he ran for 167 yards and had 3 of 4 passes for 60 yards. He made four tackles in defense.

Cam Hackworth, Tucson Sabino, QB

He was 11 of 15 for 249 yards and four touchdowns without interceptions in a win over 4A Tucson Sahuaro.

Xereque Parham, Willow Canyon, Athlete

In a 62-19 win over North Canyon, he ran seven times for 53 yards and two touchdowns, caught four passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns, and threw one touchdown pass.

Calvin Mathews, Willow Canyon, QB

He was 10 of 14 for 275 yards and three touchdowns, and ran for two scores.

Donovan Williams, Willow Canyon, WR

He caught four passes for 137 yards and a touchdown.

Seth Wiltbank, Round Valley, RB

He ran for 126 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries and caught a 28-yard touchdown pass in a 19-6 victory over Payson.
