Katz joined JPMorgan in 2005 and left this summer, according to her LinkedIn profile. He was previously at Goldman Sachs Group Inc.

Kapil Bhatia, Global Head of Energy Trading at JPMorgan, will take on the role of Katz, with London-based Akesh Amin replacing Kapil, some people say.

Katz is joining a team of at least four other employees managing asset risk, including stocks and mortgage-backed securities, according to the company’s website. The fund also added fund managers to its Singapore and Dubai offices this year.
