MCM SS22 Collection, Campaign with Iann Dior

MCM has no room for bad vibes in the new year. The brand is already thinking positively, avant-garde and luminous with its promising spring/summer 2022 collection.

As the German fashion house continues its tunnel vision for a better future and those who shape it, it has tapped American musician iann dior to present the SS22 campaign.

The 22-year-old designer poetically aligns himself with the brand’s aspirations since he is to better thingsas indicated by his first album of the year.

With the latest offering, we see MCM continuing to usher in a new sense of creativity, innovation and freshness, drawing inspiration from its classic pieces without sacrificing that contemporary feel introduced by creative director Dirk Schönberger.

In fact, it’s safe to say that MCM SS22 offers a bit of everything for everyone.

Bright pastels team up with cube pattern button up shirts and wide leg pants, perfect for Sunday brunch on the town. Hit the slopes? After-ski wear includes wool sweaters and quilted vests, keeping you equally comfortable and stylish, with matching monogrammed accessories.

MCM’s playful “Pup” figurine debuts a bold – yet gentle – introduction to the brand’s worldview in the form of gifts like a satin cushion, doll and charm, encouraging the wearer to take the MCM’s new mascot wherever his backpack or shoulder bag goes.

Of course, the collection wouldn’t be complete without the appearance of MCM’s heritage Visetos print. The timeless design, which has carried on from season to season since 1976, adorned staples like backpacks and baseball caps.

The confident prints, bold colors and street-ready silhouettes of the now available MCM SS22 collection exude the fun, lighthearted and stylish spirit we’ve been looking for for the year ahead.

Let’s hope 2022 keeps the same energy.
